Businesses across Ilford and Redbridge are being invited to join one of the borough’s most prestigious celebrations of business excellence as registrations continue for the 2026 Ilford & Redbridge Business Awards.
Organised by Ilford BID, the awards recognise the outstanding achievements of businesses, entrepreneurs, employers, charities, social enterprises, and community organisations that help make Ilford and Redbridge vibrant places to live, work, shop, and visit.
The response from the business community has already been exceptional, with over 65 businesses registered to date across a wide range of categories. The Awards have also secured the support of leading organisations across the borough, including Platinum Sponsors Mulalley and Mont Rose College, together with Bronze Sponsor Cranbrook Lettings Limited, demonstrating strong confidence in this year’s programme and its role in celebrating local business success.
Mulalley, established in 1972, is one of the UK’s leading construction, regeneration, and property services companies, delivering major housing and community infrastructure projects across London and the South East. Mont Rose College, based in Ilford, is a respected higher education provider supporting learners and workforce development through career-focused programmes in business, health, hospitality, and digital technologies.
Businesses can register until 30th June 2026, with public nominations opening from 1st August to 30th September 2026. Finalists will be announced in November before winners are revealed at the prestigious Awards Ceremony on 3rd December 2026.
Cyril Bekoe, BID Manager at Ilford BID, said:
“We are delighted by the early response to this year’s awards, with more than 65 businesses already registered and sponsorship support already secured from respected organisations including Mulalley, Mont Rose College, and Cranbrook Lettings Limited. The Awards provide an excellent opportunity for businesses to raise their profile, celebrate their achievements, and gain recognition from customers, clients, and the wider community. We encourage all eligible businesses to register before the deadline and be part of this fantastic celebration of local success.”
The awards feature categories covering hospitality, retail, customer service, social value, sustainability, arts and culture, apprenticeships, health and wellbeing, social media, and overall business excellence. Businesses can register across multiple categories, increasing their visibility throughout the campaign and maximising opportunities for public nominations. Organisations are welcome to also collaborate through sponsorship of the awards programme.
