Ilford Town Centre was alive with festive spirit as Christmas in Ilford 2025 brought thousands of people together for a day of celebration, spectacular lights, family entertainment, and stunning aerial displays. 

The highlight of the event — Ilford’s first-ever drone light show — lit up the evening sky above Ilford High Road, accompanied by fireworks displays, festive music, seasonal food markets, and fun activities for all ages. 

Held on Saturday, 22 November 2025, the free public celebration spanned Ilford High Road, Exchange Ilford, and the area around Redbridge Town Hall. Families and visitors enjoyed live stage performances, a Christmas lights switch-on, kid-friendly attractions like Santa’s grotto and rides, and a festive market featuring local vendors. 

Organisers said the event’s success highlights Ilford’s vibrant community atmosphere during the holiday season and reinforces the town centre’s role as a gathering place for residents across the borough.
